We Are All About Service
3rd grade student in North Clark County
(and they all love to hold their very own!)
Every year we have the privilege
of donating funds to the
North County Community Food Bank
the Walk ‘n Knock Food Drive
for kids who might not
get a visit from Santa…
But, of course, we also have fun!
and have our own Christmas Party
(and much, much more…)
We are People of Action. We are Rotary.
Welcome to Lewis River Rotary Club! Rotarians are ordinary people from many vocations and walks of life who are passionate about serving together to accomplish the extraordinary in our world. In Rotary language, we put Service Above Self.
As Lewis River Rotarians, we serve those in our global community. We have built sustainable water systems in Guatemala, provided bicycles for youth in East Africa, financed and traveled to build science labs and classrooms in rural Tanzania, volunteered in maternal health clinics in Ghana, and participated in the delivering of live-saving Polio vaccinations.
With over 1,200,000 Rotarians serving worldwide, being involved in Rotary also creates opportunities for members to engage in international programs and travel by teaming up and partnering with Rotary clubs around the world. We leverage resources and provide essential services to serve others in need and create meaningful impact.
Locally, our club provides educational scholarships for collegiate and job training opportunities, offers vocational support by conducting mock job interviews for youth, funds activities for Boy Scout Troops and Cub Packs, participates in highway clean-ups, donates thousands of pounds of food to our local food bank, sponsors and participates in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and much more.
