We Are All About Service

Dictionaries are given to each
3rd grade student in North Clark County
(and they all love to hold their very own!)

Every year we have the privilege
of donating funds to the
North County Community Food Bank

And to Relay for Life

The Interact Club joins us for
the Walk ‘n Knock Food Drive

We host a Christmas Party
for kids who might not
get a visit from Santa…

But, of course, we also have fun!

Especially at our fund-raisers

And sometimes we can win and raise funds at the same time.

And we always take time to socialize
and have our own Christmas Party

And a summer-time picnic

(and much, much more…)

We are ordinary people from many vocations in our community who are passionate about serving together to accomplish the extraordinary in our world. In Rotary language, Lewis River Rotarians put Service Above Self.

Rotary also offers its members the opportunity for foreign-travel. By teaming up with local Rotary clubs in other countries, Lewis River Rotarians have been able to leverage resources and provide essential services in several countries. For example, our Rotarians have built sustainable water systems, provided bicycles and educational supplies in rural areas of Africa, worked in health clinics to educate women and screen for uterine cancer, and participated in delivering Polio vaccinations. Our club is currently supporting students in Tanzania at the Red Sweater Project and has contributed funds to help construct a science learning center at the school. Many of our club members will be visiting in 2018 to participate in construction & the dedication of this facility.

Lewis River Rotary members also participate in service projects in the Battle Ground and the greater North Clark County area. Our members are very active in the community. Our club supports mock interviews, a local Boy Scout Troop and Cub-Pack, provides scholarships for young men and women continuing their education, sponsors and participates in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and much, much more.

Club Mission Statement

Each week, Lewis River Rotary hosts an informative speaker, who presents a topic of interest to the Rotary members.  We also take time to have some fun, enjoy fellowship with our breakfast, and build our friendships and network within the community.
