Aug 28 @ 7:00 am – 8:00 am
An inspirational presentation from Heidi Codino, a mother of four who went back to school just three years ago.  She started from scratch and got her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and is now in medical school studying to become a Naturopathic Doctor, with a Masters in Global Health and Midwifery license.   Heidi has been selected to be part of an exclusive trip to Ghana, Africa.  Only 5 students were chosen to be allowed to represent NUNM (National University of Natural Medicine) on this mission trip.  They will be working in the local clinic to see how medical care is given in Accra then moving to an indigenous village to work with traditional midwives.  The group will also be working with the local NGO (Rural Project Support Network)on a project to help local tribes with human rights advocacy and health education.
